Rooted in a background in athletic training, personal training, and movement education, THE reCOVEry Wellness brings an integrated approach to fitness that intentionally combines strength, movement education, and built-in recovery into one cohesive experience. Every offering is designed to help individuals move well, train with intention, and support their bodies for the long term.
What began as personal training and recovery guidance naturally evolved into a broader vision—one where people don’t have to choose between working hard and taking care of themselves. By integrating recovery directly into training sessions and class formats, THE reCOVEry Wellness helps reduce barriers like time constraints and fragmented care, making it easier to stay consistent and connected to your body.
Today, THE reCOVEry Wellness serves adults and youth through personal training, small-group classes, movement education, and recovery-focused services. While the methods may evolve, the foundation remains the same: education-driven programming, thoughtful progressions, and a commitment to longevity.

As a young athlete, I experienced a major knee injury while playing soccer, tearing my ACL, MCL, and meniscus. During my rehabilitation, I worked as a physical therapy aide at the same clinic where I was completing my own recovery. Being immersed in that environment—both personally and professionally—sparked a deep curiosity about how the body heals, how movement quality matters, and how intentional support can make a lasting difference in returning to activity.
I spent nearly ten years working in that clinical setting while also pursuing personal training, drawn equally to strength development and the recovery process. Wanting to bring those two interests together, I became a New York State–licensed Athletic Trainer, a role that allowed me to focus on movement education, injury-risk awareness, and performance-informed training.
For more than a decade, I’ve worked as a Head Athletic Trainer in a New York middle and high school environment, supporting youth athletes across a wide range of sports and abilities. Alongside that work, I continued training adults and offering guidance on recovery habits, form, and injury prevention. No matter the setting, I kept seeing the same pattern—people were committed to training, but recovery was often rushed, skipped, or treated as optional.
THE reCOVEry Wellness was born from the idea that training and recovery shouldn’t live in separate places. By integrating strength, movement education, and recovery into one experience, the goal is to help people stay consistent, move confidently, and build bodies that support active lifestyles over time.
